"HALT/HASS" is an evaluation system designed to detect product weaknesses in the early stages of the product development/design process and to quickly eliminate potential defects within a short period. Originally conceived in the United States in the 1980s, it has been adopted in various industries, particularly in Europe and North America, for quality assessment in aircraft, automobiles, medical devices, and more.
